Our ClipChart
This is our classroom clip chart. Throughout each day students are able to move their clip up and down the clip chart based on their behaviors. If a student reaches the top or clips off the top of the chart, in which case Miss Anderson will wear their clip, they will receive a good news note home! We display these good news notes around our clip chart so that everyone can see how well we are doing. Students are clipped up for following directions the first time, helping others, being responsible and S.O.A.R.ing. As students move up the chart they are able to earn fish for our Fish Auction which is held at the end of each semester.
Reasons that students may clip down include: incomplete homework, harming others, arguing with teacher, stealing, cheating and repeated disruption. When students move down the clip chart they must return a set amount of fish shown on the green sticky notes to the right of the chart.
I love our clip chart and so do the kiddos! It is bright, colorful, and it keeps us on track!
